FKA, MCT, Gold Seal and Professional Certifications

FKA offers six Professional Development Certification tracks: Professional Instructional Developer, Professional Instructional Designer, Professional Performance and Learning Consultant, Professional Facilitator, Professional e-Facilitator, and Master Learning Professional. These tracks represent the required core competencies for: facilitators, technical trainers, curriculum designers, instructional developers, performance consultants, needs analysts, learning managers and executives.

FKA Certifications

For individuals responsible for developing learning resources based on the course design plan or blue print provided by the instructional designer. The learning resources include facilitator and learner materials to support the complete range of learning environments from the physical (traditional) classroom, and other face to face environments, to online and self-directed learning approaches.

For individuals responsible for analyzing the learning needs, defining the learning outcomes, and creating the course design plan or blueprint used by the instructional developer. The instructional designer specifies what learning resources need to be developed.

For individuals responsible for assessing human performance to ensure it aligns and supports the business needs. They identify performance gaps and profile recommended solutions to bridge those gaps. If the solution requires a learning intervention, the consultant develops preliminary course design plans or blueprints for the Instructional Designer. These preliminary plans will include a project work plan and cost benefit analysis.

For individuals responsible for delivering instruction by transferring skill and knowledge effectively to adult learners in any face-to-face environment.

Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)

FKA’s Instructional Techniques programs are approved by Microsoft for the “delivery skills” component of the Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) program. MCTs are the recognized technical and instructional experts in Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions; they are the only individuals authorized to deliver Microsoft Learning or Microsoft Dynamics courses.

Microsoft Learning

Gold Seal

Gold Seal Certification program certifies Canadian construction management professionals, i.e. estimators, superintendents, project managers, owner’s, construction managers, and safety coordinators involved in general, electrical or mechanical contracting, road building and heavy construction or specialty trades. Applicants require a combination of industry experience, education, and training to challenge the Gold Seal exam and if successful, to become Gold Seal Certified (GSC).
